The Chinese Consortium Delegation's Visit to Chad

At the invitation of H.E. Mr Ali A. Aghabache, the Senior Advisor to the President of the Republic of Chad, the Consortium of BeltWay Group, China Energy Engineering Corporation, China Railway No.5 Engineering Group and Beijing Ferreland Petroleum Technology Service Co., Ltd sent a delegation of ten representatives to Chad to pay an official visit from November 5th to 9th, 2017.

The Republic of Chad is along the route of China's 'Belt and Road Initiative', an important country with development potential in the market of infrastructure construction and energy sector in Central Afraca.

During the Chinese Consortium delegation's stay in Chad, they met H.E. Mr. Albert Pahimi Padacke, the Premier Minister, H.E. Mr. Adoum Younousmi, the Minister of Infrastructures, H.E. Mr. Ngueto Tiraina Yambaye, the Minister of Economy and Development Planning, H.E. Mr. Mahamat Annadif Youssouf, the Minister of Graziery and Animal Production and Mr. Ahmat Gadam Hogossi, the General Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. The delegation learnt the current situation of general economic development, the market of infrastructure construction and ernergy sector in Chad and introduced technical capacity, experiences in overseas market and financial ability the Chinese Consortium possesses to Chadian side.

On November 8th, the Chinese Consortium delegation signed MoUs on future cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and the Ministry of Graziery and Animal Production respectively. Through this visit both sides of Chad and China increased mutual understanding and established communication channel with each other.
